Neil Cragg at one time over this weekend was labelled as an “old dog”, but he has shrugged that off with a masterful display of control and self restraint. He was put under a heavy load of pressure from Michal Orlowski on several occasions, but was completely unrattled.

“Just standard mate”

Neil was good enough to take a few moments to explain to me that the setup he is using is nothing special. Kit pistons and 30wt/27.5 weight oil is more akin to a dirt setup, but Neil showed it was the right way to go. His car has several pieced of brass and stainless steel in it, but it still felt quite light in hand. “It’s just standard setup for this type of surface” he explained – no tricks or secrets.
