Michal Orlowski takes 2wd Qualifying at EOS…

The EOS is making its annual visit to the Grafenwald Sport Hotel in Daun Germany this weekend. The new format puts Stock truck, stock 2wd and 2wd Mod together on the Thursday and Friday with Stock Mod, 4wd Stock and 4wd on Saturday and Sunday.

The track is made from brand new carpet and is probably the best layout we have seen in many years. All in all very good. What isn’t very good is the amount of grip the tyres are getting – fully locked in. That’s making things hard for the mere mortals. 19.5 seconds laps are being laid down by the superstarts with the bulk of the field achieving 21 – 22 seconds laps.

Michal Orlowski has secured 2wd pole position, but it wasn’t easy – only winning the last heat on the last lap. Marcus Kaerup, and Clement Boda are looking really quick and the battle in the 2wd A Final is going to be a tough one.
