Smith takes Pole as Tommy takes Q4

Ben Smith has taken 4wd Pole Position due to Tommy Hall taking 4wd qualifying Round 4. Smith looked the fastest on track as it recovered from a shower of rain during heat 6 but a double error on one lap caused him to drop significantly behind heat 10 leader Tommy Hall. He made a good recovery, but Hall’s clean run set the pace and he took the round.

Big Si was showing signs of pressure..
