4wd Q1 to Ben Smith…

We see lots of good performances on track at the BRCA Nationals, but its more unusual for an early qualifying heat to gather a crowd and even more rare for the crowd to be focused on one driver as they unfold a faultless performance. This was the case in Round 1 of 4wd qualifying when Ben Smith starting third caught and passed new 4wd Champion Tommy Hall and Jamie Hall for TQ in Round 1. The standard of driving was exceptional. Smith, a regular front runner, looked on point and a little more aggressive than usual.

Times are tight in 4wd on a rapidly drying track….
