Cragg takes 2wd Q4 but Martin retains Pole

We’ve just a thrilling set of heats at the end of Round 4 of 2wd Qualifying. Luke Holdsworth took heat 11 ahead of Lee Martin, but all eyes were on heat 12. Looking at the championship standings – Tommy Hall needed a TQ and win to take the series. Jamie Hall lead heat 12 away with Tommy behind, followed by Neil Cragg. A roll from Tommy on the landing off the left hand double let Jamie away and place Neil right behind him. Tommy pushed on the Neil in tow and eventually go past Jamie, but the damage was done and Cragg took TQ in round. This demoted Tommy to second in round which in turn secured Pole Position for Lee Martin. The result means that before the finals Neil Cragg is the 2023 2wd Champion.

Congratulations to Neil and commiserations to Tommy and off course, well done to Lee Martin.

It is raining heavily again and there is a question mark as to whether the finals will run….
