Some onsite issues with the timing system means that we are not sure who is leading 4wd qualifying after 3 rounds with 2 remaining rounds today (Saturday). At the moment the results are based on each drivers fastest time of the day and not round by round points as is normal. Hopefully things are sorted properly today.
What I can tell you is that Marcus Kaerup, as predicted, is starting to present himself as as not just a top European driver but as a World level competitor – 4 seconds clear at the front of the time sheet. The 2022 4wd European Champion looks on course to be a double European Champion this year unless the finals go against him or if there is a pick up in pace from his rivals.
