Cool & Filtered news from the worlds of RC Racing

So anyone who has seen me operate at an event knows that I don’t have much time to stop and chat. I’m fairly flat out all day – I arrive at 7am and am always one of the last to leave at 7.30pm. So what’s about to happen doesn’t really make much sense…..

Next week I will be in Utrecht for the 2023 EFRA 1/10 EP Offroad European Championships. I’ll be bringing viewers the usual mix of photos, interviews and coverage from some top heats and the A Finals. One thing is different this time however, in 2022 I actually qualified to race at the Euros and have a place! I will be racing!

Putting my money where my mouth is, I have transitioned to using Schumacher cars for the event – as I say in the videos – they support our racing, so I support them. It’s a no-brainer. Having built the 2wd and 4wd and I can say with 100% honesty that they build really nicely and I’m very positive about the prospects.

So I’m fairly excited about the week ahead. We kick off with a track walk on Sunday evening and we will start filling the photo galleries on Monday at some point after I have my first couple of practice sessions under my belt. Having not raced 1/10th for a year or so, this could be a disaster…. or else I’ll stick it in the top 50. At least the photos will be good….

Just a disclaimer before we start – we may not get photos of everybody – obviously my heat and one after might not get any photos taken of them – its too hard to hold the transmitter and the camera at the same time. It’s all just going to be too much. We will endeavour to get photos of our friends from the BRCA and the EOS – fingers crossed.
